Hello there- my name is Jonathan Eizyk, and I have a story to tell. Or rather, a collection of stories. Many of them aren’t even mine- in fact, they’re yours. I’m simply here to investigate them, preserve them, and, of course, share them. I like to think of myself as part historian, part folklorist, and part historic preservationist- with just a touch of the macabre. My passions lie in history, storytelling, and ghost stories, which is why I’ve chosen to dedicate my efforts to uncovering and capturing the many historical hauntings of New York- particularly in Brooklyn and Queens. This book is the result of those endeavors.

What more can I tell about myself? I currently reside in Brooklyn, where I've been living for the past year. I absolutely love this city and its long and rich history- as well as its beautiful architecture. All of these things also influenced me to write my book.
